<p><em>We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled <strong>Senior Media and Communications Officer</strong> <strong>(All Genders)</strong> to support our growing communications team. Based in <strong>Berlin</strong> <strong>or</strong> <strong>Munich</strong>, the successful candidate will play a key role in building the company’s reputation across Germany and internationally, with a particular focus on media relations, content development, and strategic messaging.</em></p>

<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Proactively pitch stories and manage relationships with German and international media outlets</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Draft press releases, op-eds, briefings, Q&As, and reactive statements in both English and German</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Monitor media coverage and provide regular analysis and insight to internal stakeholders</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Support the delivery of major announcements, media events, and leadership engagements</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Ensure message consistency across all external communications, including alignment with corporate narrative</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Work with other internal teams to develop content that showcases the company’s technology, partnerships, and impact</em></li>

<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in communications, journalism, or media relations, preferably within the defence or security sectors</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Strong understanding of the media landscape in Germany and Europe, with a proven track record of securing coverage</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English (native-level fluency in at least one)</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Experience managing sensitive and high-stakes media moments, including crisis communications</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Confident working with senior executives and external stakeholders</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Able to translate complex technical topics into clear, compelling messaging</em></li>
<li style="font-style: italic;"><em>Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure</em></li>
